Get the camera out and take pictures while putting up decorations. Make a scrapbook of Christmas memories and give it to them on a special occassion such as when they get married or when they are going through a hard time.

Let your child make the door decoration with paper. This will make your child feel very proud every time they come home and see their artwork on the front door.

Do a theme around your childs favorite toy or movie. If you have two or more children try and stick with everyones favorite movies to make it easier or either toys.

Sing Christmas songs while putting up the decorations. Sometimes children can get restless while putting up decorations. If you entertain them with songs it might help them be able to get some exercise and stay focused on what you are doing.

Every child loves good food and more so around the holidays. Try and bake something really special for your child or either order it ahead of time to make sure that it gets there on time. When you are cooking ask your child if they would like to help you cook. Don't be mad if they say no but most children do love cooking and more so if they can lick the bowl.
